"Yes/No Body" is a concept album based on my musical experiments around the no input technique, which consists in creating feedbacks inside of a mixer and then playing it as an actual instrument. Its sound matter is visceral and abstract at the same time, because flesh and soul are the same thing.
"Yes Body" suite is an hymn to dance and body movement. Here the no input mixers works in strong relationships with a drum machine and a synthesizer to create the soundtrack for your body to move.
"No Body" is an ambient suite where thick soundscapes and haunting visions are expressed into the sonic spectrum. The track is one single improvisation (divided in 3 parts) on a single no input mixer accompanied by some fx. As minimal as possible.
Recorded live. No overdubs.
Every track is a performance, every no input composition is unique because it's influenced by the unpredictable results that a mixer generate every time you twist a knob.
